
Job Description
Overall role & responsibility: Provide excellence in technical support to internal and external customers for the purpose of reaching and exceeding the sales budget in Iran. Extensive travel in Iran is required The KPIs are: 1: Achievement of the sales budget 2: Maximize contribution 3: Growth of SOW at defined focus accounts in Iran 4: Sales Pipeline development and customer visit frequency Responsibilities and tasks: * Grow sales double digit on a year on year basis to your defined accounts in Iran * In concert with Senior Sales Manager develop ambitious yet realistic sales budgets * Support DSO and account receivables * Show the way and provide excellent level of customer service to both internal and external customers *Manage customer relationships: o Follow and execute on site trials to secure right field data collection and validation until successful implementation of Chr. Hansen culture and/or enzymes solutions o Provide excellent customer support for cultures and enzymes by plant visits, audits and troubleshooting (phage audits etc.) of challenges as required o Be able to organize and provide training programs and troubleshooting (innovation days, technical product training, phage audits etc.) for customers o Conduct technical presentations to customers, explaining the use of Chr. Hansen ingredients in food applications o Handle sample requests, submit TSR's and follow up on those o Responsible for maintaining, updating and executing focus account plans to grow business in alignment with the country business plan for Iran * Ensure CRM system is maintained with up to date customer and competitor information on customer, market, product, pricing and production volumes * Manage project pipeline and participate in monthly business & pipeline management review meetings * Participate in monthly blue sheet review meeting to discuss key projects/opportunities * In collaboration with global and local business development, implement new product launches or concepts including PR activities, planning of customer seminars and local sales campaigns * Provides timely internal sales and customer related reports * Perform all other duties as assigned Frequent traveling up to 120 days is required for this position What is in it for you? * Part of a well-established global company with a strong presence and bright future in a strategic market * Be part of building and defining an Iranian company from the beginning with the security of having a global and established company supporting you * Opportunity for career and personal development and training * Part of a company with
Requirements
Education and Experience: * M.Sc./B.Sc. in Food Science with minimum 5 years of sales experience. * Ability to read, write and speak English is a requirement of this position. * Practical experience from an ingredient supplier or a dairy plant is a plus.
