The position:

As a tax manager, you will:

  • Manage tax and transfer pricing functional area in Iran, including audits, disputes, investigations, and investments/expansions as well as submitting and filling all relevant corporate tax returns, VAT Tax Returns and other relevant documents in line with local regulations.
  • Participate in reporting and documentation of tax/custom matters, ensuring compliance with Iranian regulations.
  • Analyze and optimize tax-related issues before executing business decisions, in cooperation with relevant directors.
  • Train affiliate staff on tax and transfer pricing understanding and reporting to corporate tax.
  • Regularly monitor tax matters, provide training to the local team, and participate in relevant meetings and networks and various tasks necessary to support tax operations, i.e. calculations, document controls, transactions spot checks, system inputs, etc.

Requirements

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or any related field.
  • At least 5 years of managerial successful experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical background.
  • Strong knowledge of local rules and regulations in corporate and tax areas.
  • Independent, responsible, and conscientious, with a high degree of integrity, tenacity, and ability to decide.
  • Full working proficiency in both oral and written English is essential.
