Solution Engineer

Job Description

Objective: Solution engineer is a member of Business development -- Solution Team under the supervision of Solution manger. They play a supportive role to Sales and Business development managers. Main responsibilities : Solution team is responsible for planning and preparing technical offer for tenders and RFPs/RFQs and estimating the cost of the job , in time and in professional manner. This should be done either by the proposal team itself or by the engineering teams or a mix and match of these two methods. But solution team is fully responsible for the offer at the end. Solution team is also fully responsible for the documentation to be submitted from all the aspects: • The technical proposal and system overview / Drawings • List of materials • Details of services (man-days, Tickets, Travels,...) • Feasibility of the solution with the help of system assurance team • Getting quotation from vendors and subcontractors and Negotiating the offer • Reducing the cost of the job by innovative ideas • Guarantee tables and Catalogues • Required Non-technical documents (resumes, Company Profile,...) Reporting to: Solution Manager Subordinates: Business Development Manger Other Interactions: Sales Team, Customers, Consultants Number Required: 1 Duration: Permanent If Qualified Desired Start Date: First of Mordad Probation: 3 months Working Hours: Sat-Thu 8-6 - Might be more if Required Travel Requirements: Occasionally within / out of Iran
