POSITION SNAPSHOT: Location: Tehran, Iran - Full-time POSITION SUMMARY: A legal business partner who proactively shapes, challenges, and drives within the business and externally by delivering legal, compliance, regulatory and risk, and reputational management strategies and solutions to Nestlé’s businesses and functions in IRAN, and supports the MENA Legal function in developing, communicating and executing such initiatives. A DAY IN THE LIFE … ● Overall management and responsibility for the legal affairs of Nestlé in Iran, including with regard to contracts and commercial law, litigations, corporate law and governance, intellectual property, compliance, advocacy with governmental authorities, employment law, risk management, antitrust, and etc., under the functional supervision of the MENA legal function. ● Provide legal and professional support to the country management of Nestlé Iran. ● Collaborate and work with other departments and business units on particular projects and cross-functional tasks. ● Cooperate with external and internal legal resources where required. ● Advise the company on changes in laws and regulations and potential impacts on the business. ● Presence in Nestlé factories in Qazvin or Polour when needed.

Requirements

What will make you successful? ● Bachelor's and Master's degree in Law. ● Lawyer’s (Bar) Association License. ● At least 6 years of experience in reputable companies or law firms (at least 2 years of corporate background). ● Fluent in English. ● Good knowledge of the FMCG/food industry including competitors and retailers. ● Good knowledge of the law in areas of corporate, contracts, competition, data protection, M&A, IP, and employment. ● Strong written and oral communication and analytical skills in Farsi and English. ● Strong background in drafting and reviewing contracts. ● Strong understanding of litigation processes and strategies. ● Ability to grasp complex areas of law rapidly and accurately, and demonstrate strategic thinking. ● Exhibiting sound practical judgment. ● Team management skills, and ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team. ● Efficient work management and ability to equilibrate priorities. ● Effective communication and reporting skills. ● Other personal qualities, including a high degree of ethics and integrity, pragmatism, fast and result-driven and business-oriented decision making, demonstration of ‘presence’ and ‘commitment’, autonomy and independence, etc.
