Job Description

Responsibilities: 1. Take the responsibility of operation geology. Be involved in the management of the geology contracts, especially during the absence of expatriate senior geologist. 2. Take the responsibility of the local geological issues, data collection and affairs with NIOC South, PEDEC and other organizations. 3. Prepare proposals/designs/programs/reports/materials of operation geology. 4. Be involved in the well plan and well location visit/study if needed. 5. Monitor and follow-up the daily drilling operation, analyze problems occurring in drilling campaign, and provide the operation geology technical support to well site. 6. Be stick to company regulations, HSE and all procedures. 7. Continue to study management and new technology. 8. Creatively work hard for the company, think for the company, and stand with the company. 9. Work as a team member closely with collogues; communicate tightly; remind, help and respect each other; tolerate each other. Try the best performance and personality to the company. 10. Perform other related duties/jobs such as selecting the most appropriate and economical for the company, reviewing final geology well report, or something from Operation Manager. 11. Follow the instructions of Operation Manager and complete the work assignment in time. Actively report the work progress and quality to Operation Manager daily, weekly and monthly. Requirements

Minimum Requirements: 1. B.Sc. in Geology or equivalent. 2. 8 years’ of diversified petroleum industry experience in geology or reservoir activities including 2-3 years well site experience. 3. Very good knowledge of English. 4. Good knowledge of computer operation and relevant software.
