
Job Description
Overall role & responsibility: Supervision, leadership and coaching of sales & application team leading to substantial revenue and profit growth on a year-to year basis. The KPIs are : 1: Achievement of sales budget 2: Maximize contribution 3: Growth of SOW (share of wallet) at defined Focus Accounts in the region 4: Manage cost budgets and support DSO and account receivables 5: Sales Pipeline development and customer visit frequency Responsibilities and tasks: o Coach and lead the dairy sales & application teams to meet and exceed sales budget targets on a year-to-year basis in Iran o Member of the local management team o Manage customer relationships in collaboration with local partner PPS; forecast and forecast changes, pricing, contracts, IP and complaints o Manage DSO and account receivables o Show the way and provide excellent level of customer service to both internal and external customers o In concert with country manager develop country business plans and execute on those o Responsible for maintaining, updating and executing focus account plans to grow business in alignment with country business plans o Ensure CRM system is maintained with up to date customer and competitor information on customer, market, product, pricing and production volumes o Coach sales team to drive and manage project pipeline in sales force utilizing customized dashboards and organize monthly business & pipeline management review meetings o In collaboration with global and local business development, drive launch of new concepts including PR activities, planning of customer seminars and local sales campaigns o In concert with country manager develop ambitious yet realistic sales budgets o Provides timely internal sales and customer related reports o Perform all other duties as assigned Frequent traveling up to 120 days is required for this position What is in it for you? o Part of a well-established global company with a strong presence and bright future in a strategic market o Be part of building and defining an Iranian company from the beginning with the security of having a global and established company supporting you o Opportunity for career and personal development and training o Part of a company with strong employee engagement and motivation as proven through regular employee satisfaction survey
Requirements
- Education and Experience: M.Sc./B.Sc. in Food Science with minimum 5 years of sales management experience. Ability to read, write and speak English is a requirement of this position. Practical experience from an ingredient supplier or a dairy plant is a plus. - Leadership & Management skills: Analytical, structured, high energetic. Role model with “can do” attitude lead and motivate the team - Business & Negotiation skills: Drive and lead complex contract and price negotiations with Focus Accounts and Distributors in collaboration with Country Manager
