About this position: Sales Expert would be in charge of Sales and Marketing for Chemicals, Polymer Dispersions, Polymer Powders & Additives for Architectural Coatings and Construction Chemicals. A successful candidate will learn all about the chemical products that have revolutionized the paint and construction industries in the last decades, get acquainted with different industries and learn about the dynamics of the market. Main responsibilities: - Establishing sales objectives and handle all sales activities. - Develop and implement sales strategies. - Identify, analyze and implement new methods and techniques to determine sales growth. - Evaluate market demand and try to meet customers' needs and expectations. - Handle both field and indoor sales activities. - Participate at trade fairs and other events. - Prepare and analyze complex and technical specifications of products. - Maintain good long term relationship with customers. - Provide customers relevant information about the products and services the company sells. - Provide customer services after selling the product or service. - Handle customer complaints and solve conflicts within the company. - Motivate and reward the sales team. Reporting to: Sales Manager Number required: 1 Desired start date: 15th August 2017 Probation: 3 Months Working hours : Saturday to Wednesday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Travel requirements : Occasionally travel within country
Requirements
University qualifications: - BS or MS in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering or any related University Degree - Previous experience: - Minimum 2 Years in Sales Field Specialist knowledge: - Having the primary knowledge in paints, architectural coatings or construction chemicals as the Sales or Technical Expert Other Skills: - Excellent negotiation skills. - Team worker. - Good customer services. - Interpersonal competences and presentation skills. - Highly organized and good planner. - Business awareness. - Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. - Basic math and accounting competence. - IT knowledge and computer competences. - Hard working and dynamic person. - Analytic and rational thinking. - Excellent telephone manners. - Polite and problem solver. Ideal Age Range: 22 to 36 years old Language Skills: - Fluency in English language is a must. - Knowledge in German Language would be a plus.
