Job Description
-Position summary: The research and development manager is responsible to direct the dedicated R&D team in Tehran to achieve its goals mainly developing new types of raw material, herbal medicines and supplements as well as interacting with the board of managers, and the factory to meet their needs. -Primary duties and responsibilities: -Managing in-process corrections and troubleshooting processes -Supporting and managing pre-formulation, formulation development, process development, process optimization, scale-up and clinical manufacturing on assigned projects -Active Participation in product development -Participation in refining GMP activities related to the products and formulations -Interacting with QA and QC on formulation and process issues and investigations -Continuous Interaction with the factory
Requirements
-Ph.D. in pharmaceutics, or Pharm.D. from a reputable university -At least 8 years of relevant experience in oral liquid and solid dosage form products especially in herbal medicine -Dominant in Iran Food and Drug administration regulations and ICH, PIC/s and WHO guidelines -Familiar with project management tools and software -Dominant in a variety of formulation laboratory techniques -Good command of English language, preferably a high score in approved English language tests,TOEFL, IELTS, TOLIMO or MCHE
