Production and Well Completion Engineer

Job Description

Must have a thorough knowledge of production monitoring and maintenance, completion design, production logging, well test design and analysis, coiled tubing and work over operations, electric and slick line operations, and well control. Experience with electrical submersible pumps, and horizontal and multi-lateral completions is beneficial. Will have experience as production engineering in high water cut fields where high capacity artificial lift techniques are used Candidate should have been involved with stimulation and re-completion techniques in high water cut carbonate reservoirs. Must be proficient in computer operations and software applications including flow simulation, and reservoir surveillance 1. Provide technical support for operations including coiled tubing operations, well testing, matrix stimulation, water shut off, perforating and logging. 2. Advice on water shut-off and selective stimulation techniques for high water cut wells. 3. Monitor and troubleshoot producing operations and well integrity. 4. Lead/participate on multi-disciplinary teams, provide technical advice and guidance, and mentor/train younger engineers. 5. Perform in-depth technical/engineering studies, write guidelines and policy documents, initiate innovative proposals, and author papers for internal and external publication. 6. Provide expert advice on the design, installation and operation of electrical submersible pumps (ESPs). 7. Review existing field monitoring procedures and recommend modifications that will provide adequate monitoring of ESP equipped wells.
