Job Description
• Direct and coordinate the execution of new parts projects from proposal study stage to client delivery.
• Directing, prioritizing and scheduling activities of the engineering team to achieve plant and department performance objectives for safety, cost, quality, productivity, and delivery.
• Direct and control all phases of project execution and administration, including invoice approval, compliance with administrative rules, cost, schedule, and quality of deliveries and changes of scope
• Directing the development, validation, documentation, control of all: Matrix DIE making processes, stamping processes, welding processes, assembly processes.
• Ensure that all project deliverables (engineering drawings, engineering documents, tools and equipment's and their technical documents, spare parts, man-power, specialty contractors, equipment manuals and any other items) are complete by project start-up time.
• Responsible for engineering change management for product and manufacturing changes as well as providing project management and program support for product and manufacturing projects and programs
• Responsible for maintaining a continuous improvement program within the department to identify, define and implement improvement projects, including, but not limited to: safety and quality improvements, process/product improvements, cost reductions, capacity increases, assembly and material handling methods, productivity improvements, and energy/natural resource savings in the plant and manufacturing environment
