Job Description

As a Senior Energy and Power Electrical Engineer on our Energy and Power design team, you will lead production staff in creating documents to build power generation, substation, and distribution systems. You’ll utilize both your creative and analytical skills in this role as you plan and design power generation systems, central utility plants, power distribution systems, and microgrids. System modeling and calculations including lightning protection, grounding, load flow, short-circuit analyses and arc-flash analysis, coordination studies, protective relay setting development, and coordination of electrical interconnection of the new generation to the utility power grid.

Requirements

● Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Master’s degree is preferred. ● A Professional Engineering License is required. ● 3 years of experience in power systems. ● Detailed design experience of large-scale solar projects is required. ● Experience in design and drafting utilizing AutoCAD is required. ● Experience in Power System modeling software like SKM, ETAP, EazyPower, CYME, CDEGs, etc. ● Experience in arc flash, short circuit, coordination, grounding, and relevant studies is preferred. ● Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. ● Efficient time management –handle multiple projects simultaneously and with minimal supervision including prioritizing, organizing, and planning effectively to meet all deadlines.
