Job Description

Responsible of the management of all physical flows (rows & packs, pallets, trays, finished products) including traceability Definition/ implementation of the distribution strategy: in sourcing or outsourcing, number and location of warehouses, transport means, distribution schemes Management and optimization of global distribution costs: co negotiation with suppliers (with Purchasing) Transport purchasing strategy (co definition with purchasing function) Transport execution & management of relationships with transport suppliers Physical management of inventory/ products Warehouses management (including primary warehouse), Warehouses organisation and productivity, Resources management/development Order preparation (picking...) and co packaging activities Order fulfillment (in coordination with the customer service) Inventories, FIFO, Service level agreements with industrial function on quarantine, finished products availability (after quality check) Deployment plan execution If relevant: management of relationships with Third party logistics suppliers: Contract definition (with purchasing), Contract follow up (KPIs, performance animation) Manage and develop logistics resources/teams Contribute with customer service to customer partnerships/ relations

Requirements

BS or higher degree in Industrial Engineering Minimum of 10 Years work experience 5 years Seniority required in automotive industry The ability to work on multiple projects at one time. The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines. Good attention to details and accuracy. Strong IT skills. Full command of English, French, German both written & spoken Ideal Age Range: Maximum 45
