There are potential legal, social, and economic risks to businesses as a consequence of poor waste management. Improper waste handling or waste disposal can result in fines, prosecution, and the possible removal of a company’s license to operate. The purpose of this job is to eliminate or reduce the above risks.
Areas of responsibility:
● Follow and conduct all employee recruitment and annual medical checkup.
● Be part of the team by suggesting creative ideas to support business continuity and sustain the EHS management system.
● Identify, evaluate, and implement health and safety programs, and follow up the evaluation of workplace harmful factors.
● Ensure compliance of the activities with Legal (MOH) and JTI health and safety requirements.
● Monitor the implementation of preventive actions in order to ensure constant readiness.
● Provide the necessary health and safety trainings in the workplace and support managers in advancing specific tasks and processes in the field of health training in the workplace.
● Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon the manager’s request.
Requirements
● At least a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health or Environmental Health.
● At least two years of work experience.
● Familiarity with English.
● Adequate knowledge of health and safety laws and related processes, risk management, and environmental impacts and their aspects on business.
● Ability to work with Microsoft Office.
