Job Description

● Organizing, planning, monitoring and controlling the activities of logistics unit within the framework of the corporate's strategies ● Supervising the proper implementation of all logistics affairs, such as distribution center operation, warehousing, internal / external transportation to ensure achievement of cost, productivity and accuracy ● Collaborating with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as sales, order management, accounting, or shipping ● Monitoring and supervising the work of logistics specialists as well as planning and estimating the human resources and level of expertise required in the department according to the strategic goals, policies and operational plans of the organization ● Analyzing all aspects of corporate logistics to determine the most cost-effective or efficient means of transportation, resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues. ● Preparing statistical reports on logistics performance, examining the progress of logistics operations programs, and proposing improvement plans. ● Adjusting unit's actions in relation and coordination with others' actions. ● Appropriate use of equipment, facilities, and materials. ● Determining how money will be spent.

Requirements

● Knowledge of principles and methods of all kinds of transportation. ● Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, production and coordination. ● Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and costs. ● Knowledge of laws, government regulations, court procedures, executive orders, agency rules.
