We are looking for a reliable Logistics Manager to be responsible for the overall Upstream Oil and Gas Operation management. Logistics Manager responsibilities include organizing and monitoring day to day tasks and plan for future company operations.
The goal is to manage the entire order cycle so as to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
• Strategically plan and manage logistics, transportation and customer services
• Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle(MR/MIV)
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers.
• Keep track of quality, quantity, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
• Arrange process & shipments
• Resolve any arising problems or complaints
• Supervise, coach and train remote yard coordinators and helper workforce
• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
• Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
• Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements
Requirements
• Proven working experience as a Logistics Manager
• Record of successful distribution and logistics management
• Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
• Proficient in standard logistics software
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
• Bachelor’s degree in the supply chain, transportation, logistics, business, or related in O&G industries
• 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply management, or a similar role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory position
• Experienced in Contract, Cost and project delivery
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and reporting
• Strong project management skills with the ability to supervise multiple projects
• Excellent communication skills
