Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including but not limited to vendor agreements, customer contracts, employment agreements, and partnership agreements.
Ensure that all contracts align with legal standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Provide legal advice and support to various departments on contractual matters.
Develop and implement processes for efficient contract administration, including contract tracking, renewal, and compliance monitoring.
Stakeholder Management:
Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, regulatory bodies, and other relevant parties.
Collaborate with business units to understand their legal needs and provide strategic legal advice to support their objectives.
Effectively communicate legal requirements and considerations to stakeholders clearly and concisely.
Legal Compliance:
Stay abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure the company's legal compliance.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks and ensure adherence to legal requirements.
Dispute Resolution:
Manage and resolve legal disputes, working closely with external counsel when necessary.
Develop and implement strategies to prevent legal disputes and minimize the company's exposure to legal risks.
Work closely with relevant departments to ensure that contractual obligations are met.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Law school.
5 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on contracts and stakeholder management (having a tourism background is a plus).
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of contract law, business law, and relevant regulations.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and at various organizational levels.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
High level of integrity and commitment to ethical conduct.
