
Job Description
• Develop and implement an annual internal audit plan based on the company's risk assessment and priorities
• Plan, direct and supervise financial, operational and process audits
• Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and identify risks, control weaknesses and areas for process improvement
• Review important company processes including finance and treasury, purchasing and procurement, sales and receivables, warehouse and inventory, production and cost, fixed assets, contracts and other operational areas
• Review compliance with laws, regulations, bylaws, guidelines and internal and supervisory requirements related to the company's activities
• Analyze audit findings and provide practical and applicable suggestions for improving controls, reducing risks and improving processes
• Prepare and submit transparent, documented and analytical reports to senior management, the audit committee and other competent authorities
• Follow up on the implementation of agreed corrective actions and report on the status of open, pending and resolved cases
• Use data analysis and methods Modern Auditing to Increase Coverage, Accuracy, and Effectiveness of Internal Audit Activities
• Professional cooperation and interaction with the independent auditor, statutory auditor, audit committee, and other supervisory bodies of the company
• Participation in the assessment and improvement of the risk management and corporate governance system within the framework of the duties and independence of internal audit
• Conducting special reviews and audit missions requested by the audit committee and the board of directors within the framework of the duties of the internal audit unit
• Management, guidance, and evaluation of the performance of the internal audit team and monitoring the quality of documentation, worksheets, and activities carried out
• Compliance with and protection of the principles of independence, impartiality, confidentiality, and professional ethics in all internal audit activities
Eligibility requirements
• Minimum bachelor's degree in accounting, auditing, financial management, or related fields
• Relevant and effective work experience in the field of internal audit, independent audit, internal controls, or risk management
• Mastery of the principles and standards of internal audit, risk-based audit, and Iranian accounting and auditing standards
• Appropriate mastery of the concepts of internal control, risk management, and Related frameworks including COSO
• Ability to identify and analyze risks, control weaknesses, and root causes of issues and provide implementation solutions
• Appropriate familiarity with the financial and operational processes of manufacturing companies; experience in pharmaceutical or listed companies is an advantage
• Familiarity with corporate governance requirements, audit committee, and regulations related to listed companies
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and ability to analyze financial and operational data and information
• Familiarity with ERP systems, financial software, and reporting and data analysis tools
• Ability to prepare professional reports and effectively present results and findings to senior managers and the audit committee
• Possess analytical power, professional judgment, problem solving, accuracy, and a follow-up spirit
• Possess independence of opinion, honesty, confidentiality, accountability, and the ability to establish professional interaction with different units of the organization
• Ability to manage, direct, and develop members of the internal audit team
