Job Description
Objective: He is responsible to follow and implement the company Hedge & Risk control strategies Main responsibilities: • Hedge management; Maintain/update the hedge accounting models • Manage the development of appropriate models for strategy implementation • Source model inputs and run models • Prepare and update weekly hedge rebalancing exercise • Prepare/post monthly hedge accounting entries • Prepare monthly analysis explaining effectiveness of volatility management • Produce ad-hoc hedge accounting reports as required by the senior management • Ensure that process and controls are adhered to and proper audit trail is maintained • Assist in the provision of technical accounting advice (hedge accounting related) when necessary
Requirements
University qualifications: Bachelor degree in accounting/financial/industrial engineering/Economic or mathematics any other related field Previous experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in related field Specialist knowledge: Hedge accounting knowledge is a plus Future markets knowledge, Risk management knowledge Strong computer skills (MS Office is a must) Other Skills: Strategic thinking ability and excellent communication skills, Positive attitude, passion and commitment, Results oriented, Attention to detail Proactive - Keen to learn and really enjoys testing their abilities to the limits Knowledge of treasury products gained in a banking environment an advantage Team player, diligent and able to cope with tight deadlines Language Skills: Familiar with English (reading, writing)
