Job Description

● Direct and oversee the quality control department and supervisory staff. ● Evaluate production operations from a strategic level to ensure that products meet quality, integrity, functionality, and other specifications and requirements. ● Collaborate with management and senior staff across production departments and roles to draft acceptable quality standards. ● Develop and implement quality standard testing and evaluation processes. ● Assess test results and approves recommended changes. ● Review quality control documentation such as checklists, logs, and reports for effectiveness, accuracy, and relevance. ● Conduct random inspections and quality control checks. ● Periodically report the status of quality control and operations to the manager and, when required, regulatory agencies. ● Perform other related duties as assigned. ● Develop the goals and quality plan of the quality control unit. ● Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes.

Requirements

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to train staff. ● Thorough understanding of quality control standards, processes, and methodologies. ● Thorough understanding of manufacturing and production in the industry (Protein industry). ● Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. ● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. ● Strong supervisory and leadership skills. ● Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software. ● At least 5 years of related experience in a related industry (Protein industry) is required.
