Foreign Accounting Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a foreign accounting manager who enjoys working in a technically challenging environment and as part of a team with a deep knowledge of accounting who is expected to:

Main responsibilities:

• Responsible for foreign purchase accounting.
• Responsible for reconciliation with foreign vendors and forwarders.
• Conduct related research and development tasks.
• Responsible for supervising and directing the finance functions, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, check processing, exception items, fixed assets, and cost accounting.
• Prepare periodic reports, review and reconcile data, and participate in the development of specialized financial data.
• Oversee and prepare entries and adjustments to records, files, and statements.
• Assist with financial and variance analyses, board packet information, and budget preparation.
• Maintain cash flow by monitoring bank balances and cash requirements; and investing excess funds.
• Maintain financial security by adhering to internal controls.
• Ensure that finance functions are completed following established policies and standards and related requirements.
• Support annual audits by providing information and answers to auditors.
• Provide financial statements and reports and interpret financial information to the finance manager.
• Prepare balance sheets, statements, financial ratios, etc.
• Prepare and submit tax declaration /tax return /seasonal reporting.
• Ensure compliance with payment, reporting, or other tax requirements.
• Supervise the executive of the financial accounting system, credits and banking affairs, insurance, and the Ministry of Finance.
• Ensure that all transactions and reports are processed according to internal procedures and guidelines.
• Prepare financial or regulatory reports required by laws, regulations, or boards of directors.
