Finance & Economics Manager
Nano Daru Pharmaceutical Company is seeking an experienced and capable Finance & Economics Manager to strengthen and further develop its financial and economic operations.
The position is responsible for leading and integrating key financial functions, including Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Treasury, Budgeting, and Financial Analysis, with a strong focus on financial transparency, cost control, liquidity management, financial reporting, and providing reliable financial insights to support management decision-making.
Job Purpose
To plan, lead, oversee, and integrate the organization’s financial and economic activities, including financial accounting, cost accounting, treasury operations, budgeting, and financial analysis, while ensuring the accuracy and transparency of financial information, compliance with applicable financial and tax regulations, effective management of financial resources and cash flow, cost control and optimization, and the timely provision of reliable financial information and analysis to senior management in support of the organization’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
•Plan, lead, and oversee the performance of the Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, and Treasury functions, ensuring effective coordination and operational efficiency.
•Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial, management, and economic reports, providing timely and insightful information to the Finance & Economics function and senior management.
•Contribute to annual budgeting, cost control, variance analysis, and financial performance monitoring.
•Oversee liquidity management, cash flow, and financial and foreign exchange risk management, ensuring the timely availability of required financial resources.
•Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial and tax regulations, and applicable legal requirements, and oversee internal and external audit processes.
•Oversee internal financial controls, financial risk identification, and corrective actions to enhance transparency and mitigate financial risks.
•Analyze cost structures, profitability, and financial performance, and provide recommendations to support management decision-making and financial planning.
•Lead and develop financial teams and monitor the performance and achievement of objectives by department heads and employees within the areas of responsibility.
Education
•A Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration (MBA), Economics, or a related field.
•Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CMA, CPA, or other recognized finance and accounting certifications are considered an advantage.
Professional Experience
•8–12 years of relevant professional experience in finance and accounting.
•At least 3–5 years of experience in a managerial or senior supervisory role within the finance function.
•Experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly within the pharmaceutical industry, is considered an advantage.
Technical Knowledge & Expertise
•Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
•Strong expertise in cost accounting, cost analysis, and profitability analysis.
•Strong knowledge of budgeting, budgetary control, and variance analysis.
•Strong understanding of liquidity and cash flow management.
•In-depth knowledge of applicable financial and tax laws and regulations.
•Knowledge of social security regulations relevant to financial operations.
•Ability to analyze financial statements and prepare management reports and financial dashboards.
•Knowledge of internal controls and financial risk management.
•Familiarity with internal and external audit processes.
•Knowledge of foreign exchange risk and financial risk management.
•Proficiency in financial and accounting software, with experience working with ERP systems.
•Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis and reporting tools.
•Familiarity with Power BI is considered an advantage.
