Job Description
Manage, mentor and coach a team of engineers through frequent one-on-one’s and quarterly performance reviews
Set standards for engineering practices with your team and throughout the organization focusing on continuous improvement toward high-performing, data driven teams.
Ensure the team meets delivery deadlines, quality goals and collaborate with other teams (product, engineering, operations) to help define the product backlog
Familiar with specific phases of projects, technical studies, designs, specifications, technical plans, testing and evaluate changes is necessary (especially in Automotive Industry Discipline such as APQP
Ensures effective management of change Minimum 5 method experience (lean production, APQP, PPAP. SNPQP, POKAYOKE)
Establishes project procedures to ensure deliverables part
Resolving and responding to technical queries from engineering contractors / vendors.
Assumes responsibility for cost, schedule, quality and budget control
Deliver project on time, in accordance with the scope of the project and within targeted costs
Ensure customer satisfaction requirements
Provide support on the business Strategic Planning, Annual Operating Plan and the Six Sigma Initiatives, in order to develop the appropriate capital plans/budgets.
