Job Description

  • Designing and providing basic documents including protection & metering single line, trip table, interlock logic diagram, front view of control and protection panels, signal list, and panel arrangement of secondary design substations.
  • Designing and preparing detail design of secondary protection, control, & automation system scheme according to basic documents.
  • Designing and providing LVAC/DC distribution board documents including single line diagram, logic diagram, cable sizing and rating calculation.
  • Preparing sizing calculation and specifications for battery, battery charger, and inverter.
  • Providing ordering documents for LV protection and control equipment.
  • Preparing punching detail and internal arrangement for panel manufacturing according to and detail design.
  • Performing factory tests on panels according to standard and design.
  • Participating in coordination meetings with the client, consultant and subcontractor to improve design problems at site.
  • Coordinating and supporting project manager plans for allocated projects in a range of sectors.

Requirements:

  • At least a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Power/Control) from a reputable university.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience as a protection and control designer engineer in secondary design substations.
  • Familiar with the basic documents, relative standards, circuits, and manufacturing.
  • Electrical detail knowledge about equipment use in protection and control panels in substations: Protective Relay, Measuring Equipment, Control Equipment, LV cables.
  • Familiar with international standards and the Tavanir standard for the electricity industry.
  • Expert in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to multitask and work on several projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrating self-initiative as a designer.
  • Fluent in English.
