Job Description

- Prepares & implement financial policies and procedures across all branches & HO - As a member of the senior management team, support FD in the formulation and implementation of overall ýbusiness strategies and plans.ý - Ensure proper accounting & maintenance of General Ledger activities - Develop and maintain an effective professional team within the area of control. Provide direction to Finance & IT teams to ensure that financial and IT goals and objectives are met. - Direct the implementation of corporate treasury ýmanagement activities to ensure effective cash ýmanagement and adequate liquidity at most competitive rates. - Plan, implement and maintain internal control system in coordination with Internal controls and internal audit deptt. To safeguard company assets, systems & processes and compliance with statutory requirement - Analyze and assess major corporate projects/initiatives to support effective decision making. Support ideas and actions to reduce cost, optimize assets and improve efficiency & productivity. - Effectively manage relationships with the external stakeholders like, banks, insurance companies, external auditors, tax auditors, stock exchange to ensure smooth operations and develop trust, integrity and responsible image of the Company. - Develop necessary systems and processes to support efficient execution of finance processes and business planning, effect changes required for continuous improvement. • - Direct, attend and participate in staff meetings and related activities; attend workshops to keep up to date with finance issues. - Ensure that consistent use is made of current systems by reviewing, challenging and changing existing ways by applying business process re-engineering to improve business processes prior to/after new system implementation - Coordinates the preparation of financial plan for the sales team, monitor progress against agreed targets throughout the year and perform strategic analysis and financial projections. - Facilitates for monthly closing activities as per schedule - Coordinates with Auditors and Tax office for annual financial closing

Requirements

- BS/ MS in Finance & Accounting - Chartered Accountant or any other professional qualification such as ACCA/ CMA/ CIMA/ CPA will be an added advantage. - Large MNC FMCG with multi-location / multi division - FMCG & distribution with extensive knowledge of sales & distribution with having multiple branches. - English Mandatory. - Age: 32-45
