- Stays familiar with the company's needs.
- Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Continuously comparison dealers and negotiates to make sure the company gets the best possible prices on needed supplies.
- Resolves issues with contracts and commercial operations.
- Assists commercial directors and works as a member of a cohesive team.
- Manages daily company operations.
- Coaches employees on best practices for managing contract issues and handling daily issues and tasks.
- Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.
- Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.
- Maintain the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
- Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.
- Accepts extra duties as situations arise
Requirements
- Bachelors degree Degree in business or a related field.
- 5+ years Experience as a purchasing manager or in a similar position. (preferably in home appliances companies)
- Good knowledge of Incoterms, logistics, Shipping charters, international trade procedures, Exchange office fund transfer and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently.
