Agricultural Purchasing Expert

Job Description

- Create a purchasing plan based around the commercial business and brand plans, ensuring suitable and sufficient resource is in place, - Providing visibility on procurement on all relevant business unit objectives, targets and budgets for third party expenditures, including sharing of brand plans, projects brief’s and strategic plans, - Identify the potential suppliers, compare prices, specifications, obtain and review suppliers offers, invoices and contracts in order to determine the best bid among potential suppliers, - Ensure budget availability for the procured items and prepare payment documents for the financial department, - Contact and cooperation with suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries and other problems, - Prepare purchase orders based on company’s required agricultural supplies quality and specifications, - Monitor process to ensure that agricultural supplies come in on time as per agreed conditions and resolve problems related to undelivered goods, - Liaise with organizations and authorities involved for getting all the needed governmental and non-governmental approvals and licenses in purchasing process, - Prepare and handle all necessary documentation to shipping documents, custom affairs, commercial registration and banking procedures - Preparing, maintaining and updating the history and information of purchased goods, purchase costs, receipts and performance of purchased products as well as preferred, approved and other suppliers and agreed terms and conditions, - Ensure that requests for construction supplies & machinery are met with respect to construction supplies & machinery quality, quantity, price and time.
