Job Description

ZFP as a distributor of renowned fashion brands is looking for a financial controller for its own apparel manufacturing plant based in Maku. The role will report both to the local Plant Manager and to the Finance Director in the headquarter in Tehran. • Oversee the accounting operations of the construction site • Manage banks and outsourced functions • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system and a system of controls over accounting transactions • Prepare payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements • Process plant payroll in a timely manner • Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are completed • Issue monthly financial statements for the plant • Coordinate the preparation of the corporate quarter and annual report for the plant • Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics • Oversee compliance with local and national reporting requirements and legal filings for the plant • Coordinate the provision of information to external and internal auditors for the annual audit

Requirements

• 5+ years of Finance & Accounting experience in the manufacturing operation • University qualifications: MSC/BSC in accounting or finance. • Excellent knowledge of accounting (accounts payable/general ledger, financial chart of accounts, etc.) • Good knowledge and corporate procedures and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, etc.) • Fluent in English • Strong sense of prioritization with the ability to multi-task. • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word • Must be well organized and a self-starter • Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable • Possess strong organizational and time management skills • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing • Ability to interact with employees in a professional manner • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume production environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
