Serving customers by selling products and meeting customer needs:
Main responsibilities:
- Serving existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing meetings or communicating with existing or potential customers.
- Prepares price quotations and submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual analyses.
- Monitors competitors by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, etc.
- Develop and maintain and update a customer database.
- Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person.
- Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships follow up on sales activity.
