Job Description

● Identify new suppliers and assist negotiating supply agreements and contracts as needed, including discount structures, volume rebates, etc. ● Identify opportunities for cost management/value addition. ● Forecast procurement needs and reorder points. ● Ensure supplier compliance with all company regulations and requirements, including documentation. ● Handle purchasing issues. ● Be responsible for resource and supply availability and timing. ● Perform cost analysis on items, quantities and holding costs. ● Forecast price trends and their impact on future activities. ● Reduce the risk of key supplier dependency. ● Plan and execute special promotional campaigns, prepare promotions in parallel with the marketing plan and seasonality. ● Provide category portfolio development, execute and improve the performance of the declared category by efficient assortment building (supplier and product selection) pricing. ● Analyze market conditions, maintain strategic market relationships and knowledge of market trends. ● Gather information relating to the customer reaction to products. ● Prepare periodic performance reports.

Requirements

● Minimum Bachelor's degree. ● Minimum 3 -5 years of work experience. ● Ability to work to deadlines, under pressure and the willingness to put in the extra hours, when needed. ● Proficiency in Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills. ● Familiar with English. ● Gender: Male. ● Ideal age range: 30 – 40.
