Art director is responsible for Design and architecture of the organizational brand and imaging, and what advertisements look like.
He/she is involved in creating a campaign that has an instant, positive impact on the consumer in order to promote the product or brand being advertised. An art director tasks and duties include:
- Design and create brand identity
- Leads and provides creative direction to a multi-disciplinary team including writers and designers
- Working from a brief with a copywriter, generating ideas to present to the client
- Working on designs to produce an effective advertising campaign
- Partners and collaborates with Director of Marketing on all Marketing and communication activity and execute all creative needs
- Evaluates concepts and provides creative direction
- Finds and develops new talent and Supervise design staff
- Managing projects and working within a budget and deadlines
- Editing the final results for presentation to the client.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of Art Direction in Advertising Agencies or marketing teams.
- Good art and design skills, including an understanding of photography, printing and motion
- Creativity and imagination
- Skilled in Design software
- Team building skills
- Strong ability to organize and work on multiple tasks simultaneously
- Great attention to details
- Creativity, self-motivation and the ability to work on strict deadlines, even under pressure
- Strong communication and Team Management skills.
- Good business sense and awareness of budgets
