Job Description

Decodid is currently seeking a full-time experienced architectural designer for a position in our company. The architect will participate in the design and concept-making phase of architectural design for commercial buildings. Role description: ● Resolve design, construction, and other technical issues with the design team while focusing on the delivery of innovative and constructible design solutions; ● Lead the production of documents required for the client, agency approval, bidding, and construction; including drawings, specifications, project manuals, design narratives, and code analysis. ● Mentorship and professional development of junior professionals; may be assisted by Project Managers and other Senior Project Architects, but otherwise expected to lead junior-level professional staff through all phases of the architectural process.

Requirements

Ideal candidates will have strong design and technical skills, and experience with all phases of project development from schematic design through construction and interior design for mid to large-size projects. An ability to produce thorough construction documents and technical specifications, strong communication, and presentation skills and solid construction administration experience is required. ● Bachelors or Master's degree in Architecture. ● Minimum 5+ years of professional experience. ● Proficient in REVIT & AutoCAD. ● Proficient in presentation applications and software, Adobe Creative Suite, Drafting, Modeling, and Rendering are also important. ● Interest or experience in sustainable design and building performance. ● Thorough working knowledge of current construction materials and understanding of both interior and exterior building systems and construction methodologies. ● Excellent client management and customer service orientation skills; Strong leadership, time management, organization, and communication skill, and supporting design team on large projects. ● Knowledgeable and thoughtful with a knack for problem-solving and willingness to be a part of the solution and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
