In 1985, Balan Sanat Co. has acquired its license from Ministry of Industry, Mines and Commerce and begun manufacturing of industrial ladders, different kind of personal, freight and car lifts and also traffic control barriers with electrohydraulic and electro-mechanic units in different shapes and dimension and has continued its activities with increasing success. Following its strategic plans and programs, in addition to establishing different departments such as engineering design, research and development, programming, quality control, advertising, marketing research and specially education department to improve technical knowledge and skill of its staff, the company established the Standard Quality Management System ISO 9001 and got the license from German Institute TUV. Being a member of Country Research and Development Group and also keeping up with engineering standards and considering the new safety rules in design and manufacturing procedures, the company expanded its activities in the field of design and manufacturing of different kind of hydraulic and mechanical geared and gearless elevators, MRL elevators and relevant equipment and components, and also escalators, and has been able to establish its regarded place among the world producing groups.
