Job Description

Ostadkar is looking for a general manager for its city expansion. This experienced professional will fulfill the following roles and responsibilities: - Contribute to Ostadkar’s national expansion, both strategically and tactically - Build a network of branches and franchise representatives across all major cities in Iran - Develop a sustainable onboarding, training, and updating process to enable swift and rapid city expansion - Build a robust selection and monitoring process for city branch managers and representatives to ensure all Ostadkar standards are observed throughout the country - Conduct local market research in cities to identify pricing and service needs - Coordinate with marketing for local branding, awareness, and acquisition campaigns - Act as central point of contact between HQ and cities

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a team-centric, result-oriented leader who is also an experienced operations and people manager. We are looking for an experience professional with relevant experience in the start-up and / or tech eco-system who can bring energy, experience, creativity, and perseverance to our operation and business development teams. The following lists a few requirements and nice-to-have qualifications - Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in operations management and people management - Experience in working in cities other than Tehran as a manager - Highly regarded as team builder and people manager - Very strong communication and organizational skills, effective leader - Highly experienced and skilled in driving objective, data-driven business analysis and decision making - Minimum BS/BA in analytical fields or business. Master’s degree, preferably in related fields such as business, marketing, ecommerce or entrepreneurship is a plus. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Ability to work with IT resources such as databases and spreadsheets, project management and budget management. Since this job requires extensive travel, the ideal candidate should be willing and able to travel about 20 days every month
