Job Description

● Manage the financial reporting for the organization. This includes monthly financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, 5-year financial plans, and all statutory financial reporting. ● Provide sound financial support and insights to enable the ELT to make critical business decisions. ● Presentation of financial results and insights to the Board. ● Play a key role in the formulation of the business's strategy. ● Manage and oversee the taxation affairs of the organization and liaise with the external tax firm for specialist advice. ● Manage and oversee the cash flow of the company and ensure it has the appropriate treasury controls. ● Manage hedging and foreign currencies (if relevant). ● Manage the External Auditor relationship and ensure the organization is compliant with accounting standards. ● Manage and oversee the company's banking and borrowing arrangements. ● Manage and oversee the company’s financial systems. ● Investment appraisal and analysis. ● Present results to non-finance people to understand. ● Recruitment, training, mentoring, and staff development. ● Oversee payable accounts, receivable accounts, tax, treasury, payroll, financial, and management accounting functions. ● Risk Management to ensure the business has a solid risk framework in place. ● Oversee commercial decision-making from tender analysis, margin analysis, pricing analysis, etc. ● Advise and implement best practice methods to increase revenue and reduce costs. ● Advise on market changes and provide strategic financial recommendations to the ELT. ● Manage and track budget and accounting information including billing, collections, and tax information. ● Review all formal finance, HR, and IT-related policies and procedures.

Requirements

● Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting. ● Minimum 5 years of experience in accountancy or financial management, out of which a minimum of 3 years should be in a managerial position. ● Full command of taxation laws especially; income tax and value-added tax (VAT). ● Full command of 'Hamkaran System' financial software. ● Familiar with Anti Money Laundering laws and regulations. ● Full command of the laws and regulations of the 'service compensation system' i.e. insurance, pension, overwork, bonus, etc. ● Strong leadership traits and the ability to manage and supervise a team of employees. ● Outstanding communication skills with great interpersonal teamwork abilities. ● Strong knowledge of shipment and customs clearance laws and regulations. ● Strong analytical skills and sufficient knowledge to work with MS Office applications especially spreadsheet software, MS Excel. ● Great multitasking abilities and attention to detail. ● Ability to take responsibility. ● Target and result-oriented. ● Able to work under pressure and stay focused. ● Ability to work flexible and extended hours. ● Located in Tehran. ● Length of probation period: 1 to 3 months.
