Job Description
To lead the financial reporting, control and administration functions of “Iran Warehouse” (Mehr Nik Setayesh), overseeing the financial aspects of the company and taking responsibility for the flow of financial information to the Chairman, the Board and investors.
Iran Warehouse is a logistics company providing warehousing and transportation services to large local and international companies, with a specialist focus on the telecommunications and FM CG sectors. The Company has > 150 employees and manages logistics centers in Tehran, Qom and Shiraz.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNT ABILITIES
• Direct accountability to the Chairman and the Board in respect of all financial issues affecting Iran Warehouse’ operations, assisting in the development of the Company to maximize the return for shareholders.
• Direct responsibility for the central Iran Warehouse finance function and with functional responsibility for finance activities throughout the Company.
• Participation in on-going business management Company-wide, as a key member of the senior management team, supporting the implementation of strategic business and operational plans, integration of new contracts and other programmers.
• Provide effective, timely, well-analysed and succinct management information as part of a robust reporting, planning, budgeting and forecasting process that provides focus on delivery of shareholder value by means of appropriate profit, financial return, working capital and cash generation targets.
• Oversee financial management of all Company operations, including the development and implementation of sound financial and budget systems, robust systems of internal control, and risk management policies and procedures, so as to provide comfort to the Board and Audit Committee concerning the veracity of the financial accounts and management information and the security of assets.
• Manage the production of statutory accounts and other reports required by Regulators, including SSO and Tax filings ensuring systems are in place to comply with regulatory and corporate governance requirements.
• Coordinate the preparation of Company-wide management, operational and financial reports, special analyses and other information to a high standard in terms of uniformity, integrity, timeliness and quality.
• Advise the Chairman and the Board on Treasury best practice.
• Working with the Chairman, take ownership of the Iran Warehouse valuation m0odel so as to ensure that regular annual independent valuations of the company are delivered in a timely manner and in accordance with the Shareholders’ Agreement.
• Assist the Chairman and Board in the building of constructive relationships with investors and other external parties to create and build a positive reputation for Iran Warehouse.
• Manage and develop a first class finance function through the implementation of effective recruitment, development and succession strategies.
