Job Description

Overall Purpose of the Role: Under the supervision of the manager of Engineering, the Engineering Technician performs a variety of design/drafting activities group including preparing/updating assembly drawings for projects, establishing guidelines and procedures for manufacturing process. • Designing a wide range of technical parts, sub parts, products, dies, jigs and fixtures. • Preparing design calculations and other documentation like 2D &3D drawings, bill of materials. • Preparing and updating procedures and list of design parameters for current and new project • Developing technical specifications and supplier documentation for new project • Analyzing the design proposals and the technical information during new product development • Defining and implementing adequate solutions in order to reach a feasible proposal with a high quality level • Be an effective team member, working with supervisor and colleagues to ensure smooth workflow with maximum output
