About the job Persian Steel Group is currently seeking an experienced, and thorough chief accountant to join our rapidly growing company. In this role, you will demonstrate your management skills and accounting expertise in a variety of personal and corporate accounting practices, including overseeing payroll and taxes. You must be highly accurate and efficient, utilizing your vast knowledge of the current tax code, upholding our standard of exceptional customer service, and, above all else, ensuring that consistent, accurate accounting services. Persian Steel has established in 1987 with the policy of knowledge and technical skills development based on latest technologies in steel, construction and lubricant products that planned to offer its stock for sale on the public markets. It is therefore important that the chief accountant by assisting financial manager can develop and execute business cases to support the future growth of Persian Steel. Your Responsibilities • Handle full spectrum of financial and cost accounting role eg. AR, AP, GL, forecasting, budgeting etc • Responsible for day to day finance and accounts operations • Perform full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of accounts. • Perform project cost forecasts/budgets, cost tracking, monitoring and controls. • Responsible for timely monthly consolidated financial statements, payments, cash-flow management reporting for submission to financial manager. • Perform cash flow forecasting, budgeting and working closely with the operations and project teams in analyzing margins, variances and cost analysis. • Issue project cost reports for review and approval. • Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies for the set up. • Support financial manager in ensuring that intercompany cost allocations are in line with management agreements and transfer pricing policy • Establish and maintain systems for cost-sensitivity analysis and early-warning of cost-overruns

Requirements

Required qualifications & experience • Bachelors in Accounting preferred (Associates with 5-7 years experience will be considered) • Strong computer skills • Must be detail oriented • Hamrahan software experience a plus • Effective written and oral communication skills • Ability to work independently AND as a team • Effective problem-solving skills • Ability to multi-task and establish priorities
