Job Description
We are currently looking for a highly motivated, determined, well-spoken and experienced Director of Sales & Marketing.
As a Director of Sales & Marketing you’ll be responsible for lead generation and management, conducting presentations, closing sales, and meeting monthly goals.
In this regard, you need to perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Set realistic and achievable targets for the sales executive and other sales representatives and be responsible for meeting the sales targets of the organization.
- Develop and support marketing strategies and advertising campaigns in coordination with marketing and management, understand advertising opportunities and tools to help build relevant advertising solutions for our advertisers.
- Map potential customers and markets and generate leads for the organization and look forward to generating new opportunities for the organization.
- Manage staff performance to include creating a positive work environment, to encourage team members to deliver their level best.
- Manage customer profitability through efficient administration of trade programs, proper product mix management, and reduction of non-productive inventory.
- Ensure that all new contracts are completed properly and processed according to current policy. In the same vein, analyze the company’s sales policies and recommend proper improvements and changes.
- Analyze sales statistics and monitor customer satisfaction and preferences related to the sales operations to determine focus of sales efforts, and demand for products.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participates in promotional activities, working with developers, advertisers, and production managers.
- Establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand; and prepare daily and monthly reports.
- Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
- Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
