Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic supply chain Manager to lead our supply chain operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The supply chain manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supplier relationships. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, strategic vision, and a proven track record of optimizing supply chain processes to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure departmental goals are met.
Oversee procurement activities, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
Manage logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and mitigate supply chain risks.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall supply chain performance.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact supply chain operations.

Requirements

Proven experience in executive leadership roles, preferably as a Managing Director or in a similar position, having strong business acumen with a track record of successful strategic leadership and financial management.
Proficient in structured thinking, adept at developing and implementing systematic approaches to complex business challenges, fostering an environment of clarity and methodical decision-making across the organization.
Advanced analytical thinking skills, capable of synthesizing data-driven insights and leveraging them to drive informed strategic initiatives and business decisions.
Extensive network and relationship-building capabilities, leveraging connections within the industry to drive opportunities, collaborations, and market positioning for the company's growth.
Proven expertise in sourcing, supply chain optimization, and vendor management, demonstrating the ability to streamline operations and enhance efficiency through strategic partnerships and resourceful procurement practices.
Successful track record in team development and leadership, with a focus on cultivating high-performing teams, nurturing talent, and fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
