Job Description
Purpose of the position:
Preserving business operation continuity through maximizing foreign currency purchases to reduce company debt balance with suppliers and ensuring compliance is embedded in all operations internally and externally with banking parties.
Responsibilities:
● Follow up with banks, CBI, SAMT, customs, and related organizations to solve company blockage issue in the portal in order to proceed with foreign currency purchase of the company
● Reconcile internal group accounts and post-import invoices.
● Provide weekly reports and visibility of company debt for importation to management and control the company debt limitation.
● Prepare company cashflow forecast report to give visibility to the management team. It is required to contact all the departments involved to provide accurate estimation reports.
● Schedule and manage treasury committee meetings with the Impex team and Cashflow committee meetings with the management team on a monthly basis
● Preserve business operation continuity through maximizing foreign currency purchases to reduce company debt balance with suppliers.
● Ensure compliance is embedded in all operations internally and externally with banking parties.
● Maintain and supervise end-to-end of funding foreign currencies
● Review treasury policies and procedures, ensuring they are implemented in the company.
● Develop and provide reports to the leadership team on company currency status and risks.
● Collaborate with cross-function teams like supply chain, regulatory, scientific affairs, and import or export teams to support business requirements.
● Ensure enough liquidity is in place to cover the company's financial obligations.
