Job Description
• Manages, coordinates and directs the operations of the Transmission Planning Department. • Manage the execution of the Project Scope of Services (cost, time and quality) ensuring the fulfillment of contractual obligations by the Company and the Customer • Design and develop methodologies, plans, policies and procedures for transmission network planning and optimization. • Ensure all the transmission network design auditing to ensure deliverables are met according to customer growth figures • Manage within his functional area, the operational relationship with the Customer, securing to achieve a high level of satisfaction from the Customer regarding the delivery performance. • Ensure the network performance meets the KPI targets defined in the Contract including the sustained capacity margins for Transmission as per The Customer Guidelines. • Leads large cross functional teams to manage programs within allocated timeline and budget. • Leads program meetings and is responsible for program tracking and analysis. • Ensure adherences to quality standards and reviews program/project deliverables. • Provide technical and analytical guidance to project team. • Continued coordination with the Business Users to ensure ongoing requirements are met.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science degree in Telecom Engineering or equivalent degree • Detailed knowledge of principles, policies, procedures, and internal processes pertaining to Network • Extensive (8+ years) experience in Transmission planning or optimization • System thinking • Team leadership • Rigor and organization • Problem Solving • Effective communication and interpersonal skills • Critical thinking and good analytical skills • Customer service focus
