Job Description

The main purpose of the role is to ensure the proper implementation of marketing strategies, provide market insights, review promotions and communicate with the sales team. Key Accountabilities: • Identify new opportunities with trade. • Plan and control the implementation of the annual promotional calendar / trade events and local marketing activities in the country and provide a thorough evaluation afterwards. • Effective roll-out of product launches and in-market activities. • Ensure critical planning and implementation of visibility programs and country wide channel distribution. • Implementation of product launches and consumer promotions, identification of training opportunities. • Monitor promotional trends, initiatives and competitor actions by Category, Sub Category, Priority Channels and Strategic Customers. • Good analytical capability on market activities and effective reporting. • Coordinating marketing campaigns with trade marketing and sales activities. • Auditing POSMs and shelf rents with sales team. • Ability to analyze retail audit and define proper action plan for sales team. • Monitoring the implementation of the activities by the third party.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Marketing or any equivalent alternatives (proper theory and practical knowledge on trade marketing concepts) • Preferably Relevant work experience on trade marketing fields as trade marketing Executive in multi- national companies • Excellent knowledge and understanding of trade marketing in FMCG industry • Skills (Writing, reading) • Innovative thinking skills • Proper Planning skills • Good time management skills • Fully conversant with MS office applications specially expert in excel • Good presentation skills • Proactive, honest and trustworthy • Able to work on his/her own as well as part of the team • Customer Orientated • Team player • Analytical Thinking • Ability to work in a time-sensitive and high volume environment Proficiency in English • Innovative thinking skills • Proper Planning skills • Good time management skills • Fully conversant with MS office applications • Good presentation skills • Flexible on traveling especially inside the country
