Job Description

-Accountable to make sure about the engineering activities -Research on optimizing production process methods, project design, and selection of equipment, machinery and tools required for production of new products and product preservation, using and implementation of standards for such tasks -Supervision and specifying the control methods for final products, product packaging and out bounding, product storage conditions and preservation -Supervision on project engineering activities, research and development, using new technologies and international experience in new projects construction practice -Mutual cooperation in data and research exchange with similar industrial groups domestically and internationally with coordination of top management -Creating logical & practical data system among sections under supervision for better performance of assigned duties -Supervision & cooperation in preparation of new projects planning schedules, execution and project control and specifying methods -Preparation of report on unexpected shut downs reasons and presentation of practical solutions and justification report on waste products -Control and cooperation in specifying raw materials standards and work methods -Preparation of analytic reports and justificatory plans in terms of quality management system and presenting to respective line manager, presence in production coordination meetings when necessary submitting required comments -Request and expedite the department necessities and requirements -Observing the company regulations and instruction manuals in specified cases -Supervision on required studies for selection of best process conditions and equipment operations, hold negotiation with representative of companies, manufacturers and vendors, process licensors towards the purchase of process methods in terms of products higher quality and quantity -Supervision on performance of studies and the required measurements during plants test runs, at specific or variant conditions surveying the operational factors and conditions -Supervision and surveying the abnormalities of the operational condition in terms of process and preparation of reports and presentation of suitable solutions for removal of problems -Supervision on control of technical operation conditions and conforming it to license standards for the purpose of decreasing or removing abnormal process conditions and problems and establishing required coordination -Supervision on planning and inspection of the plant process sections, major and minor technical equipment, and devices according to technical drawings and standards -Supervision on all required temporary tests of production units in emergency and abnormal conditions, surveying test results and taking technical actions for resolution of probable problems in the related process and supervision on all tests carried out in the plant by surveying test results and also related tests for quality control, raw materials, and produced products. -Supervision on observation of technical standards for equipment maintenance and performing protection programs for installations and technical devices which are in exposure of corrosion. -Supervision on budget planning and approval, submission of budget for finalization by authorities & supervision on budget usage and budget figures coordination -Supervision on the department engineers and specialist's training requirements and priority of training program, for up grading the level of their professional technical knowledge -Supervision on safety regulations observation by the department’s employees for the prevention of probable incidents within their scope of responsibility -Evaluation of contractor's activities in accordance with related documents to ensure the contractor's ability in executing their assigned duties and review of their invoices for further action -Comprehensive coordination with maintenance and operation sections in analyzing process and maintenance chronicles records of equipment & under repair equipment, and removing the discrepancies for prevention of shut downs and accidents -Supervision on preparation of required technical drawings such as mechanic, electrical, instruments, and civil in accordance with engineering and cartography standards, collecting and maintaining all documents and drawings, and equipment technical specifications, scientific publications, other technical information, and reports which are submitted to the plant from domestic & external sources or prepared by company’s engineers and specialists and also supervision on preparation of required standards and technical methods
