Job Description

Technical expert in IT Systems is responsible for analyzing, configuring, maintaining and supporting of the all IT systems & technologies in the entire zone including active directory services, exchange services, virtualization technologies, SQL and system center suites…etc. to deliver optimum IT services to the business. Main responsibilities (including but not limited to): • Maintain data centers and all servers of the zone. • Install the servers OS and administrate the related domains for the zone. • Implement the Zone Systems part of the Disaster Recovery including building the Zone Disaster Recovery Centers. • Securing company data using windows updates, Anti-Virus and Encryption. • Ensure the backup procedures are followed for users and systems data. • Guarantee that the information provided by the system is accurate and usable. • Implement and administer the MS Exchange Servers. • Maintain proper documentation for all relative fields of responsibility. • Guarantee the quality, confidentiality and application and protection of company’s “Know-How” • Respect and enforce the security and safety procedures • Report any action that might interfere with the proper functioning of the company • Ensure stability of the systems and communications to avoid any down time in operations. • Guarantee minimum delay in all recovery procedures in order to minimize the impact on operation. • Ensure the Periodical tests “Full Back up restore, Hosts fails over test …etc.” are done according to the procedures and corrective actions are applied. • Support the new openings by installation/configuration of IT systems. • Support all new IT project in country by installation/configuration of IT systems. • Provide the role of 3rd level support for HO and stores. • Deliver systems securely to mobile users for better productivity using technologies such as MDM (Mobile device Management). • To respond to service incidents within the times specified in any Service Level Agreement (SLA). • To provide telephone, e-mail and remote support to help desk team/Country IT, solving their problems and providing procedural documentation as required. • To establish and maintain good working relationships with, colleagues, end-users and other professionals (e.g., suppliers and software developers, help desk team). • To test and evaluate new technology. • To procure software and parts as instructed by the Head of IT.

Requirements

• Maintain professional, impartial and efficient relationships with supplier and partners. • Ensure the proper conservation, utilization and profitability of the company’s assets • Propose and implement action plans in order to increase productivity, performance and effectiveness of the operation • Strong problem solving abilities and research skills • Demonstrates full responsibility for accepted tasks and therefore demonstrates a high level of quality, speed, reliability and efficiency. • Ensure the business projects delivery is on time and according to the budget. • Practices the company values and guarantees the same is respected and followed by the department team members • MCSE is a must • Extensive knowledge and experience of Microsoft Exchange and Hyper-V (visualization) • Extensive knowledge of Networking, CCNA certified preferred. • ITIL framework preferred.
