Job Description

•Main Objective: The incumbent is responsible for the analysis, support, design, development and implementation of business applications that support the operations of JTI (market and factory) in Iran. Applicant will support IT manager as back up for any IT related Technical Trouble shooting. • Main Responsibilities: -Develop application requirements and design as well as program specifications, programming, documentation, user training, problem management, and implementation and support activities -For the projects that applicant has been assigned in relation with the user departments, the individual is expected to play a major role to achieve project targets and user requirements -Responsible for providing integrated, structured, interactive, user-friendly, standardized and reliable implementations. Ensure quality business systems are installed and audit requirements are met -Ensure that problems are resolved in a timely manner including the proper use of trouble shooting techniques and procedures. During the resolution of the problems adhere to total quality approach -Communicate and coordinate Information Technology (IT) related activities with user departments and other IT organizational components to ensure systems compatibility, applications integrity, cross-department information needs and provide IT management with timely information as to project status -Ensure that assigned tasks within the system development cycle are planned, developed, communicated and performed a schedule and in compliance with acceptable technical design standards and departmental standards, and appropriately utilize current technology -Expected to advance applicant experience and expertise through each step of applicant assignments. Applicant should develop improvements to current business systems to ensure continued application effectiveness -Utilize advanced programming and testing skills necessary to maintain and develop applications also promote the use of end-user computer tools like Query, PC based software of preferably Client/Server technology which is the combination of the other two, in meeting users’ needs whenever possible -Perform any other tasks given by the direct manager. Consult users and management on a regular basis for the purpose of discussing their problems and keeping them informed on IT related activities and progress.
