Job Description

Objective of the job: Schedules and forecasts the right Quantity & Delivery date of materials to fulfil the MPS and accordingly sales demand and customer services (MRP). Production planning for factory, in short term horizon including scheduling and replenishment of materials to minimize disruptions to supply, and meet the agreed service levels. The main responsibilities are: - Schedule the supply of materials/components to meet production requirements and minimum safety stock levels - Plan, develop, and evaluate processes for material delivery from supplier to point of fit. - Assess volume requirements against planning assumptions - Utilize any Material Requirements Planning system (MRP) that is in place and ensure that data is accurate and up to date and resolve any issues as required - Monitor the integrity of Bill of Materials (BOM) and manage inventory accuracy - Communicating with manufacturing team regarding the Plan and relevant process issues (Daily & Through OR meetings). - Adjusting machine run schedule when it is necessary to meet changing demand. Some interaction / communication with customers may be required.
