Job Description

Supply Chain Quality Control Specialist implements and controls quality and food safety requirements in product warehouses, imposes the requirements of Food and Drug Administration in warehouses which are under company control and conducts a periodic inspection, and follows up and resolves discrepancies. Key Accountabilities: - Supervising the implementation of all regulations and circulars, instructions issued by the organization and its affiliated units - Declaring all cases of non-compliance with the rules, regulations, and violations of the company to the affiliated units of the organization - Supervising the implementation and continuity of Good Distribution Practice and Good Storage Practice (GDP and GSP) -Supervising the quality and appearance of shipments, creating and continuing the implementation of the product tracking system from the time of entering the company until the exit time -Preparing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and supervising the development, establishment, and revision of the GDP and GSP instructions, including the instructions for cleaning and hygiene of the warehouse, its personnel, temperature and humidity control, safety conditions control, fighting against insects, rodents and vermin, monitoring on how to enter and exit the products from the warehouse and register them, storage of waste and returned goods, specifications and documents related to returned goods and other necessary instructions in accordance with national and international regulations and special conditions of the company - Continuous training of staff for the correct implementation of RECALL operations and proper reporting to the Food and Drug Administration and technical officials of the contracting companies. - Supervising the warehousing and destruction of waste products according to the criteria of the Food and Drug Administration and reporting the amount of waste and its causes to the Food and Drug Administration - Monitoring control, evaluation, and periodic calibration of devices in stock (scales, thermometers and hygrometers, fire extinguishers, fire alarm, and extinguishing system, etc.) - Familiarity with the principles of safety in the workplace and the ability to periodically assess the risk and follow up their elimination with the cooperation of the safety unit

Requirements

Education: At least a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry/ Nutrition/ Chemical Engineering with a major in Food Industry to be authorized as MOH responsible Skills / Knowledge: At least 2 years of experience in the food industry and liaison with health and government departments and having experience as a technical responsible in the food industry Familiarity with the principles of food safety hazard analysis familiarity with the English language Computer skills and high ability to prepare and present information in PowerPoint format Good communication skills Available for domestic travel
