Job Description

• To lead the short term and long term demand planning process to ensure that the Operations process is running efficiently and effectively. • To ensure that a quality demand forecast together with relevant scenarios is available in a timely manner for pre-S&OP and S&OP meeting • Take responsibility for the accuracy for this forecast for the OTIF process to be executed efficiently. • Support and provide input to the Pre-S&OP and S&OP process regarding the strategic forecasting process. • Act as a primary contact of the planning team towards marketing and trade team. • Identify opportunities for improvement across the integrated demand planning process. • Manage and enhance the demand planning system which provides demand plan to production planning and S&OP planning • Communicate results to product development so that BOM forecast and SKU forecast could be executed • Ensure that the processes are in place to identify improvement areas of purchasing planning. • Multiple Interfaces within local context to regulatory bodies (Customs, Ministry of Commerce, ITC) • Volatile Market in terms of Demand Fluctuations and accuracy of Demand Forecast • Frequent Changes to regulations • Supply Chain Model Changes in terms of Strategic Factories and Localization • Multiple Business Models e.g. Imported FG, Locally Produced FG
