“I want the chance to stand out while being part of something outstanding.” Main purpose of the job: Design a sustainable distribution model incorporating the high production and demand seasonality Collaborate with customers / suppliers / internal and external stakeholders to visibly impact and steer the Value Chain to define and deliver on the business priorities and bottom line management. Provide strong leadership to establish a motivated Supply Chain organization ready to drive change in the historical ways of working. Duties and Responsibilities are: Be the custodian of business planning, implement and enable cross/ functional alignment with the company's business priorities and challenges. Create and communicate a compelling Supply Chain vision that maximizes the value of operations to make it a competitive advantage. Develop business partnerships that create sustainable value for customers, suppliers, and for Nestle. Specifically implementing a partnership mindset and management with third party logistics suppliers of our direct sales channel Review and challenge the existing RTM and logistics structure in Tehran and outside. Provide analyses and advice on the best way forward. Develop as well as coach team members for personal, professional growth and empower leadership teams. Ensure that there is a breadth and depth of the Supply Chain talent pool Embed a culture of continuous improvement in Supply Chain operations. Drive initiatives on sustainability and shared value Drive quality and regulatory controls. Safety and security measures to be in place to achieve flawless execution and cost optimization.
Requirements
Requirements: ________________________________________ Experience & Education: • Minimum BS/BA degree in a business related function • Minimum 7 years professional experience in Supply Chain & logistics fields -FMCG is a strong advantage • Farsi and English literate • Strong communication (verbal and written) • Skill to analyze information • Team working skills • Strong Computer skill (MS office is a must) • Strong negotiation skills • Self-organization, and ability to use structured management systems • Successful experience in managing a team with close proximity • Cross-functional mindset, with experience of coordination with other functions (especially with Industrial, Marketing and Finance) • Basic category management experience is an advantage • Willing and eager to travel frequently outside of Tehran Key Demographic Requirements: • Tehran Key Competencies and Skills: • Demand Planning and modelling forecast • Supply planning and optimization techniques • Negotiation skills • Leadership skills • Project management • Awareness of Socio-Economic/Political trends, implications & opportunities (such as “war for talent”, global sourcing, sustainability in supply chain, environmental footprint, etc.)Understanding of commercial, technical and financial priorities, challenges and processes • Presentation and analytical skills
