Job Description

• Build partnership with Agents to gain mutual benefit from business relationships. • Define and maintain required Service Level Agreement and monitor the Agents performance against the affiliate key performance metrics. • Develop action plans with resolution where Agents is falling short of targets and oversee execution of Agents to meet goals and objectives. • Lead periodical meetings with Agents engaging relevant stakeholders across both SANOFI and Agents to make sure importation is in line with the stock targets and market demand. • Lead regular physical stock counting / audit of SANOFI products at Agents’ level. • Carry out monthly validation between Sales-in and Agent data, detect gaps, and build action plan avoiding either demand shortfall or channel stuffing. • To have a close collaboration with Trade & Industrial department and Agent ensuring that toll manufacturers keep a healthy supply flow to meet market demand. • Lead and manage relationship with Agents providing continuous improvement on stock flow and distribution workflow to find efficiencies and create a competitive edge for the organization. • In support of the business, manage with maximum efficiency all logistics and customer service support activities and resources in line with the local business plan and corporate strategy, ensuring ongoing availability of Sanofi products to the local market. • Plan and manage the local supply-chain process for all products to commercial partners (distributors, direct customers), from order-entry, delivery through to payment • Manage, control and optimize local stock levels, ensuring effective forecasting systems are in place which guarantee reactivity to the demands of the market, in line with business forecasts • Setup appropriate management control tools to monitor performance and identify areas of continual improvement, and propose corrective actions where necessary; • Develop and facilitate relations with key authorities, organizations and commercial partners who have a direct influence on the accessibility and availability of Sanofi products in the market • Provide logistical expertise within the local organization, ensuring complete adherence to local legislation and guidelines and implementation of Group policies and procedures; be proactive in local legislation formulation and simplification • Optimize cross-functional support needs in the local organization, ensuring effective communication between direct reports and with other teams serviced by the logistics function, especially with Marketing and Regulatory Affairs. • Work with local Finance and Controlling functions to provide all necessary data (monthly reports, trend analyses, budgets, business plans and KPIs) in support of the CFO and Corporate and Regional Supply Chain management, elaborating action-plans where necessary • Optimize cross-functional support and effective communication between direct reports and with other teams. • Manage professional networks at all levels of the global supply chain organization and be proactive in local professional organizations/associations

Requirements

• Education Level: - Engineering or Business/commerce education is essential; scientific background (medicine/pharmacy) could be relevant • Experience: - Proven operational experience and success in supply chain - Logistics and customer support function - Exposure to a multi-national environment in the field of logistics - Ability to support the business and handle organization and people-management issues preferred • Skills: - Leads Team, develops people - Demonstrates success as a seasoned professional in the field of logistics/customer support - Demonstrates capacity to understand manufacturing and business issues which impact on the logistics / customer services function - Able to lead by example and foster professionalism in the team through continuous motivation and effective coaching - Highly focused and drives to set for him/herself (and help others to set for themselves) ambitious objectives - Ability to constantly self-challenge and challenge others in a constructive way - Quick to analyze and take action without compromising quality; utilizes effective negotiation skills - Shows integrity, tenacity, resilience and adaptability in complex situations and often changing environment; is able to handle pressure and commit to and respect deadlines - Utilizes excellent communication skills and demonstrates intercultural adaptability and sensitivity - Demonstrates good English language skills
